About Yaelle E. Shaphir, L.Ac., Dipl.OM (NCCAOM): aka Acumom
Yaelle (Yah-El) is a Nationally Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, and California Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist. She is a Reiki Master III. She graduated Vassar College (’95), NY with a B.A. in Economics. She was drafted into the I.D.F. (Israel Defense Force) and worked as a Physical Trainer. She instructed soldiers & monitored their health and fitness. Upon returning to the U.S., she enrolled at Emperor’s College graduating summa cum laude in 2000. She often combines B.R.T. (Body Restoration Technique)-used for treating endocrine (hormonal) imbalances and N.A.E.T. (Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique) & Gong Sound Therapy with her Acupuncture sessions. Yaelle Shaphir, L.Ac is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday by Appointment at The Chiropractic Health and Wellness Center: conveniently located at 1042 N. Fairfax Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90046. Additionally, she provides at home/office services for an additional fee. Some insurances will cover a portion of acupuncture care - check with your provider or her office can verify benefits for you.
Yaelle offers a sliding scale to address the current economic situation most of us are facing. The first visit is 1 1/2-2 hours long and includes a complete TCM diagnostic/assessment and treatment. Follow-up treatments are typically 45 min.-1hr.
